Direct billing doctors
Claiming at a direct billing doctor is simple. Just present your membership card and photo student ID when you go for your appointment and the doctor will bill us directly for your treatment so you will not have to make a claim. Some doctors may charge you a co-payment, which you will need to pay. Click here to find a direct billing doctor.
Manual claims
Download a manual claim form, complete the details and attach your original accounts and receipts (if paid for) and either:
- Post to – Bupa Australia OSHC, Level 1, 600 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, Victoria 3122, Australia
- Present at a Retail Branch (click here to find a branch). Please note that not all accounts can be paid at a branch and you will also need to present your membership card and photo student id at the time of making a claim
If you’ve been an OSHC member for less than 12 months you should get the provider to complete a medical certificate. These can also be obtained from a branch and will need to be submitted along with your claim.
If you’d like your payment via EFT you’ll also need to supply us with your:
- Bank location, i.e. Sydney
- Bank BSB or branch number
- Bank Account number
- Bank Account name
All claims will be paid in Australian Dollars (AUD).
