Direct Billing doctors will bill Bupa OSHC directly for your service fee. This means that you can see a doctor without needing to make a claim to Bupa.
In some cases a co-payment may apply, which you will need to pay for. Co-Payments cannot be claimed under your OSHC.
You must show your VALID Bupa OSHC card (or Verification Letter) PLUS photo ID (such as a drivers licence or student ID card) to have your service fee billed to Bupa.
Students please note: if you have renewed your membership, but have not received a new card, please call 1800 888 942 and we will email you a VERIFICATION LETTER. If you cannot show a valid OSHC card or Verification Letter, you may have to pay all costs upfront.
